Sketches In Thyme Challenge #6

This is my entry for the http://sketchesinthyme.blogspot.com/ challenge... The idea was to use their sketch!!  You can flip it, rotate it, or just use it as a spring board to get started. This is the first time that I have entered a challenge from this blog spot and I am excited!! I do love entering these challenges as long as I can find a minute to create with kids, a husband & trying to work from home...

This is our oldest daughter, she was 5 at the time (she is 10 as of July 13th... im a little behind...lol) and does competitive cheerleading for a gym that is approx 1 hour from us!! She has been doig competitive cheer since she was 3 1/2... She loves it & so do I... lol

Her challenge this week was to do a card from the "Wild Card Cartridge" and do it with your favorite holiday! I have so many favorite holidays but choose Christmas... My card is suppose to represent a window. Its suppose to be as you are looking thru the window and see a tree where alot of people put their tree at christmas...

Pink Stampers Pink, Green, Brown & Orange Challenge...

This is what I came up with for the Pink Stampers color challenge! The challenge was to use Pink, Green, Brown & Orange. After staring at it for a while... I decided it needed something so I added the white stitching...

This was the ending result with the added touch!!

Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge - Doodlecharms

This is my "SISTERHOOD" page... These are my 2 baby girls. Aliyah who is 10 and Cadence who is 21 months old ( she will be 2 in Sept)! They are BEST FRIENDS and get along very very well!!

I have been a fan of Emmas for a long time but she has become my FAVORITE designer!! Thank you Emmas for this challenge... I had the idea in my head as soon as I knew it was the doodlecharm cartridge but it didnt come out like planned but I am happier with the results of this challenge than I was with the last one i entered! These challenges do make me get a page done! LOL

I used the flowers from the doodlecharm cartridge...

The lettering is from the doodletype cartridge...

This is the card that our 9 years old made for her Daddy for Fathers Day! She was sooo proud of herself so was her Mamma n Daddy!! LOL

Emmas Throwback Thursday Challenge #2

At the time I was having a hard time coming up with an idea for this challenge which was for my FAVORITE designer... Emma at MyCreativeTimeForMe.com... I didnt read the rules carefully and didnt realize that this challenge was to use a certain cartridge - Stretch Your Imagination! I ended up using Wild Card... So sorry... You had to use the colors Brown, Blue & Red which I found to be very hard! Emma inspires me so much & I love what she comes up with... She is so talented and made this challenge look easy... It wasnt for me! LOL Well again, after I finished the challenge and submitted it... I knew it needed something so I added more! This is the final result... Thank You Emma for Inspiring me so much!!!
